  2. By national convention, cases are assigned by patient residence.
  3. Areas with low or no case counts may reflect absence of testing rather than absence of disease.

Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) Surveillance

In Alaska, the percentage of influenza-like illness (ILI) visits to sentinel providers for the week ending November 15, 2014 was 3.2%. Nationally, the percentage of ILI was 1.6%. The national baseline is 2.0%.
