Healthy People / Healthy Alaskans

This datatrack provides detailed data for the last two Healthy People initiatives — Healthy People 2000 and Healthy People 2010. The Healthy People initiatives identify health improvement goals and objectives in 28 focus areas — the MCH Epidemiology Unit follows focus areas 9 (Family Planning) and 16 (Maternal and Child Health) for Alaska.

Trend Data

This datatrack provides trend data for indicators that the MCH Epidemiology Unit publishes in the Maternal and Child Health Data Book and at the end of the ten-year Healthy People initiatives. This is a very good resource for people wanting multiyear data on leading indicators of maternal and child health in Alaska. It is also a good reference for data users needing indicator definitions, data sources for published indicators, and numerator and denominator information.

MCHB Title V Block Grant

This datatrack provides data users access to the National Performance measures, National Outcome measures, and State Performance measures that are annually submitted by the Division of Public Health to the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) for funds appropriated under the federal Title V MCH Block Grant.
